Diabetes Association Fundraiser

this year's American Diabetes Association fundraiser. On Sunday, June 10th,
Doug, Eva, Claire, and I attended the festivities at Oak Canyon Park in Irvine
and had a wonderful time. I received many BAD souvenirs to raffle for next
year's fundraiser. At this time I have not heard who won the bike. Good luck
to those who bought a ticket!
I finally was able to meet Larry Hagman in person
and tell him about the
Burroughs High School effort and the help received from our kindergarten
clas
and RAG. He was very impressed and Doug was able to take this picture
of
Larry and me. He was very gracious and interested in our efforts here
in
Ridgecrest.
Thank you all again for helping us raise $1901.31
to help find a cure for
diabetes.
