Scotter and Rollin just happened to be returning from
The Shop in Lacnaster...as we were meeting for
the ride to McNally's at 3 PM
at the Inyokern 76 Station
Notice the grey tones to all but the first picture above...
all is grey except for anything with red in it
Cindy and Al waiting for Judy and Don
to change Judy's digital camera battery
Cheryl...getting ideas about "running away"?
But that sign is for trucks...not biker babes!...
There's a weird barren pattern in the desert landscape on
the south side approaching Walker Pass...
perhaps due to the draught or fire
The ole Walker Pass Lodge & Restaurant...
burned down several years ago
In spite of the draught...there are a few wild flowers that manage to grow
Billee has a broken helmet visor mid-ride...
and stops to toss the offending part aside
Bald helmet!...
The ole Onyx Store.
Rumor has it that generations of cats and kittens lived
in the big trees...without ever touching ground
Emergency vehicle heading to the north side of the lake
Lake Isabella has been far far lower in past years
Isolated fires take their toll
We arrive for dinner
What to do...waiting to be seated for dinner? ;-)
The pretty bartender took this group picture
There she is!...
Sigh...
FOOD!... You'd think Judy is starving!...
Cheryl's portion of her and Wade sharing...
guess that's how she keeps her figure!
What figure?...
Other bikers enjoying the evening...
A climbing wall up river from Kernville
The fish hatchery just north of Kernville
Firefighting equipment...
Guess Cheyl and Wade are having a good time.
We all did!... ;-)
