After Tracy joined us at the Chevron station in Tehachapi...
we were 7 bikes on our way to Morro Bay!
Tracy's wife Debbie joined us later in the afternoon in her PT Cruiser.
Malia and Ike suited up for the cool morning ride.
Tracy patiently waiting for us in Tehachapi
A farm truck dumped its load of potatoes on HWY58 east of Bakersfield!
Our "Biker Babes" bundled up against the October morning temps!
Signaling a staggered formation as we exit the curves west of Bakersfield
Time to shed leathers...as the morning warms up
So...if Don had had camera in hand...
we'd have had an XXX picture of Debbie (W) shedding her leathers...
all the way down to her skin. But...alas.... ;-)
Debbie mothering Josh -- applying sunscreen
Fall is upon us
Intersection of HWY 58 and 101...heading toward Atascadero

You'd better believe it...

Our destination -- Morro Bay!
The famous Morro Bay rock
Sandra Moore introduced Judy and Don to the Garden Gallery...
and here Judy is sharing it with Susan!
Don't miss this fun sculpture between Susan and John

Susan in costume!
Don't you believe it! Judy's no angel!

Debbie and Mike have their signals crossed...
about what's sexy and what's not...
on the balcony of the party suite.
Mike...you're no Debbie!
Even the sea gull looks confused!

Debby and Dennis hosting our party in their suite...gorgeous view from their
balcony...good wine and beer and friends!
Who you calling "...confused?..."
Sort of takes you back a couple centuries, huh?
Judy being insistent about finding out
which Harley shop Debbie got her blouse

No Don...
No McKay...
I'll let this pictures speak for itself.
It'd ruin the moment...
if I told you what Debbie said was the reason Josh brought her the flowers!
;-)
Ready for the outstanding 123 mile ride north to Monterey along HWY 1 --
the Pacific Coast Highway.
The three Debb(ies/ys), Dennis, Josh, Tracy and McKay
would go wine tasting instead.
Besides...they wanted to be back to watch the World Series!
But first...breakfast!
Turkey critters in Morro Bay
Last year...on another ride to Morro Bay...
Judy and Don stayed at this bed & breakfast...
and really enjoyed it.
McKay, Debbie and Tracy on the wine tasting tour...

This art gallery is remodeled from two surplus Navy water tanks.
Don recalls bringing his kids there 30 years ago...when it was being built.
This alluring stop at Loma Vista Big Sur
has a very challenging parking lot.
So be forewarned and take care.
Susan and John -- "priceless"!
It doesn't get any sweeter!
Mike getting a wel-deserved back rub from Sandra!
Pretty darn sweet too...if you ask me!
Monterey's Canery Row
Historic bells along El Camino Real (HWY101)
We returned to Morro Bay from Montery on HWY101...
finding fog as we neared the coast.
Good thing we didn't try to return on the PCH!
Breakfast Sunday
The three Debb(ies/ys), Dennis, Josh, Tracy and McKay left for home early
Judy and Don took Susan and John to the Morro Bay rock to see its sights.
(Susan is a life science major...and enjoys the coastal wildlife.)
The wonderful coastal fog remained Sunday morning...
what an atmosphere!
Coast Guard cutter leaving the bay
There's a trail along the northeast side of the Morro Bay rock.
At low tide...the tide pools are alive with wonderous critters.
Unfortunately...it was high tide this Sunday morning.
Wiping the mud off their boots in the grass!
Back on the road: HWY101 to HWY166.
Lots of fall colors on the way.
Susan and John's first visit to The Modonna Inn
The women necessarily visit the men's bathroom...
so why not take advantage of their stop?

Lunch at In-n-Out! Ummmmm good!
