Little pieces of Deb on the left...and Dennis and Will...
meet at the Inyokern 76
Quick stop...Historical Marker at HWY178 and HWY14
where Leslie and her son Jason from Tehachapi join us...!

Hiker on the Pacific Crest Trail...resting at the
Walker Pass Historical Marker
where Debbie and Tracy want to take a
"California Passes Passport" photo
The fellow moves some of his gear
so Debbie and Tracy can take their photo
I'm told to "...hurry up...get mounted...."
An 18-wheeler had kindly moved over down the hill
so we could pass. We didn't want to get behind him
again on the twisties to come.
Alfalfa bales in the Kern River Valley...along HWY178
Leslie on her new Switchback and her son Jason on his Sportser
Mike on his Road King...
dedicated to The Patriot Guard...
riding all over our nation to show respect
Lake Isabella
Kern River Canyon...west of Lake Isabella
PHEW...! It's not an accident on the road...
rather they're filming a movie or a commercial...!
Traffic is held up for 20 minutes or so...
with nothing to do but stand there...looking good...!

One of the actors or it's filming...!

Cameras...
Lots of bikes at Ethel's Old Corral Cafe...
east of Bakersfield...
on the Alfred Harrell HWY

Here's one way to encourage biker business on hot summer days...!

I only get snippets of Deb telling how she and Josh
bought some natural Scandinavian tobacco...
I believe on a recent trip thru Montana and/or Wyoming...
and rolled their own...as she'd done 30 years ago as a kid
Jason is an experienced dirt biker.
Here Mike is sharing some important advice
with Leslie and him...on the art of riding Harleys

Yes...FOOD...!

This is more than an advisory...!
Looks like a Norman Rockwell painting...! ;)
This is Mike's Road King electronics with at least
three levels of audio priority interrupts:
GPS...two or three or more radio bands...iPhone...intercom...CB...!
Darn...no video...!
It's always entertaining watching Tracy put sunscreen on Debbie...
some even goes where the sun don't often shine..!
Leslie, Jason, Dennis and Judy and I
ride to the Harley Shop (no pics)...
then we split up for our rides home

Judy and I stop at the "Bikersfield Bling Shop"
next to Hooters...introduced to us on Schoolmarm's LOH ride
Judy and I bought slip-on goggles that Paul in Lancaster
recommended...at the Renegade Outlet Store...a few blocks
north of the Rosedale HWY on Buck Owens Blvd...
just north of the BMW, Yamaha, etal. bike shop.
And lastly...a must stop at Dewar's on California and Eye Street.
A trip to Bakersfield isn't complete without a stop at Dewar's...
established in 1909...! (Go...)
Oh...one more thingy...!
Remember the alfalfa bales we saw on the trip over
to Ethel's Old Corral Cafe...?
Judy notices on the way home...that all the bales are picked up...
...and neatly stacked...!
