Daytona Bike Week (continues) 27 Feb thru 7 March. The "World's Largest Motorcycle Event" roars throughout the Daytona Beach area for 10 days. Activities include motorcycle shows and exhibits, concerts, racing at the Daytona International Speedway and festivities on Main Street and Beach Street. Annual Beatty, NV run -- 12th thru 14th March -- watch the sun go down with wine and cheese in Rhyolite, Saturday the 13th of March!!!! George is leaving Mickey's for Beatty around 1100 AM on Friday the 12th with a few others. Others likely to leave after the General Breakfast Meeting on Saturday the 14th. Board Meeting at Smokehouse BBQ (former location of Red's Backwoods BBQ) on Fri 12 March at 1800 hrs (6:00 pm). Open to anyone who wants to attend. |

Trona Spring Fling! The 8th Annual Trona Spring Fling. The theme for this year will be "The Fabulous Sixties -- Those Were The Days!" Coordinated by our very own Carolene Gooding. For information: (760) 372-4227. Trona Spring Fling commences at 0900 Saturday Mar 20. Carolene Gooding is in charge of Trona this year and is hoping for a good turnout. The weather should be great for a ride. Meet at the Minit Mart on east Ridgecrest Blvd around 7:30 AM, George Gooding will meet us at the Trona Texaco at 0815.
