Rex picked up his ride, Laurie, in Rosamond on the way down.
Since I couldn't raise anyone at Uncle Sam's by phone
to let them know we were coming and how many...
Rex split off and rode ahead to let them know.

Sam's has changed hands a few times in the past two or three years!
We sort of jumped the present owner, his biker babe hostess and good cook.
They all did a great job -- very friendly, good service (often with a sexy smile)...
and great senses of humor.

Laurie works part time at an established popular restaurant on Sierra
Highway
and I think the name is "Mariners".
I wrote it down...but lost the paper! sigh

So we stopped off at Rider's Choice, near Uncle Sam's
so Dani could buy her helmet!
