Not Foxy's Ride 2015

This was suppose to be an after Chapter meeting lunch ride to
Foxy's at the Cal City airport ... 10 January 2015 ... but we had just eaten breakfast.
So a tiny few of us decided to ride the The Shop in Lancaster instead ...
as suggested by Debbie and Jeff ... !



Director Barb is height-challenged ... and Paul isn't ... !


Tom from The Shop ... paid us a Chapter meeting visit ... to bring us haps from down their way


Are those high clouds to the south and east darkening a bit ... ?


The western sky is gorgeous ... looking good so far ... !


Debbie and Jeff two-up, Dennis then Diane, followed by Will.
Will plans on taking HWY58 to Bakersfield.


Leggings anyone ... ? Northwest corner ... intersection of HWY 14 and HWY58 in Mojave


Fuel stop ... and potty break ... !






Pretty sky ... Mojave Windmills in the background hills ...
but wires and poles, fuel pump hoses, etc. ... historic ugh ... !


Will dropped off at the Cal City exit ... headed toward Bakersfield ... !


Darkening clouds to the east and south ... and now the ones in the west are bunching up


Ya think ... ?


Diane raced ahead south of Mojave ... then pulled off HWY14 at the next overpass.
She said it was going to rain ... and she and Dennis would be heading home ...
some 20 miles to the east.


Yes ma'am ... whatever she said ... !


So ... Debbie and Jeff and Judy and I rode on to The Shop in Lancaster.
Looks like a Dove critter is waiting for us.


Debbie and Jeff ... happy to have reached our goal -- The Shop


No Debbie ... there's no graceful way to dismount a Harley ... !


We hadn't been inside The Shop for more than 20 minutes ...
when a rider coming from the south said that heavy rains were alreaey at Ave. S ...
and were coming our way in a hurray ... !
So ... we boogied ... !
