Hey
All, A couple of things… First, I’d like to thank all of the well wishers who passed along their words and thoughts of concern for Debbie and myself. It’s really nice to know that there is a group of folks who care, it’s one of the reasons that we joined the H.O.G-R.A.G. You guys are great! Debbie is doing just fine, still a little foggy, but has almost all of her memory back with the exception of the spill and about three days after that. On a lesser note, the bike could be in the shop for up to six weeks (Bummer) because of the painted parts that were damaged.
Second, we missed the R.A.G. meeting on the 11th, (Took the bike to Lancaster) and didn’t have the opportunity to volunteer for the car wash fund raiser on July 9th. We would like to participate, just let us know what we can bring to help in the cause (i.e. soap, buckets, hoses, vacuum, etc.). Also, we can bring the camper down for shade, air-conditioning, refreshments, head, and other creature comforts for those needing a break from the July sun. If there are pre-wash tickets or anything else that needs to happen before the 9th, we can do that too.
Third, we would like to invite all of you for an “After the car wash pool party” to relax after a day in the hot sun. We’ll be making my famous smoked beef brisket (Just ask Rolan, it’s good!), get some beer, wine, and soda, a couple of sides, etc. If anyone feels the need to bring a side or anything else, that would be welcome but not necessary. Our address is 141 Mojave Rose Avenue up in College Heights, Bike only parking will be available as this is a H.O.G. related event. Don’t forget to bring a towel and swim suit, getting pushed in with leathers can be a drag! Our phone number is 371-1144 and my email is josh1533@mchsi.com. Please RSVP by July 6th so we can gage the amount of vittles to cook up. Again, It’s a pleasure to be associated with such a group! Thanks, Josh and Deb |
